RODNEY JAMES, known across the globe as Mr. Burlesque, has been a professional dancer since the age of 12. At 16 he joined the Melbourne cast of CATS and was the lead dancer in Baz Luhrman's MOULIN ROUGE alongside Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and Jim Broadbent and John Leguzimo , Caroline O'Connor ("Roxanne"). He has danced on London's West End (MISS SAIGON) and has been featured in music videos and commercials across the globe. The last 20 years, Rodney has devoted himself to teaching his unique brand of Burlesque dance. His students are women of every shape and size and from every culture and every walk of life....

Rodney's mission is to empower the reconnection with their inner goddess and how to use that newfound self-confidence to improve their lives and relationships.
“Women are amazing creatures, that isn’t celebrated enough. I don’t believe in superficial makeovers... they don't need a fancy wardrobe, new shoes or a boob job. What I do is a real transformation from the inside, the core, that brings a whole new lease of life to the outside.”
Rodney teaches women how to reconnect and engage with their own bodies. He gives them their mojo back... a glint in the eye, a spring in the step and a wiggle in the hips. What Rodney does helps them to feel more positive about themselves and look more in control, more sexy!

And it's not all about the girls. The ladies may be the majority of his students but the benefits of his training reach far beyond the individual. His magic touch extends to their ‘other halves’ too.
